The Sisters are women of deep prayer. They begin each day with communal recitation of the Divine Office, followed by time of silent prayer (when possible before the Exposed Blessed Sacrament), and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Before lunch, the Sisters again come together for midday prayer, and in the evening they celebrate evening prayer with a communal Holy Hour before the exposed Blessed Sacrament. Before retiring, they pray night prayers. Much of the Office is chanted, which helps one to enter deeply into the mystery of prayer and reflect the music of the Heavenly Jerusalem.
The Sister’s contemplative life of prayer is evident in their deep peace and love for Our LORD Jesus CHRIST, their Spouse.
The Most Blessed Sacrament is at the heart of the Sisters life. It is to Him, their Beloved, that they continually turn in adoration, petition, and thanksgiving. By surrendering their hearts to Our LORD in the Blessed Sacrament He draws them deeper into the mystery of His Love; Love that was willing to suffer on the Cross for His Bride.
It is here, with Love Himself, that the Sisters comfort CHRIST’S wounded heart and it is here that they carry the wounds of their brothers and sisters to their compassionate LORD.
