A religious vocation is a precious gift from God to the Church and the individual called. Many young women are confused or are struggling to discern the gentle whisper of the Beloved in a world of noise and busyness. In order to properly and clearly hear that whisper a young woman, if she is serious about doing God’s will, should make a daily holy hour (preferably before the Blessed Sacrament) with the intention of knowing her vocation. If you really want to know – He will tell you!
Being a Religious Sister is being a Bride of CHRIST. He wants to take His Bride deep into His Sacred Heart which was pierced for love of her. And as CHRIST’S Bride we are called to take Him into our hearts, to comfort Him and love Him in a world that has forgotten that Love has died for all.
Discerning a religious vocation is the beginning of a deep love relationship with our Crucified LORD. Do not be afraid to ask Him who you are created to be. And do not be afraid of the answer!
Any young woman who has the desire to grow in holiness in a life totally consecrated to CHIRST and wishes to follow the Capuchin Franciscan tradition should contact the Sisters for more information.
Is GOD calling you to be a prayerful support to the Church? Is GOD calling you to a life committed to Him in Religious Life?
If you believe GOD may be calling you, call the Sisters!
“You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you . . .” (Jn.15:16)
